Overview
The Santa Fe College Police Department is a sworn law enforcement agency dedicated to serving in partnership with the college community. The Police Department patrols the main campus and several centers 24/7/365 and is committed to keeping everyone safe and secure. The Police Department formed in 1993 replacing the security department at that time. Today, 麻豆原创 is one of only a very few colleges in the Florida College System with a police department and was the first in the State. Three Chiefs have served with the agency.
The Santa Fe College Police Department and its personnel have received awards and recognition from leading law enforcement organizations. In several, the College Police Department has been the first higher education law enforcement agency to ever receive these awards.

- 2013 Inaugural "Community Policing" award from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), the world's largest campus safety and security organization
