The Saints opened conference play on the road Saturday but couldn鈥檛 come away with a win against Miami Dade College.
The Saints battled in the first game of the doubleheader, keeping it close before falling just short in a loss. Game two was another tight contest, with 麻豆原创 holding Miami Dade to just two runs through six innings. However, Miami Dade delivered in the final frame, walking it off in the bottom of the seventh for a 3-1 win.
The Saints look to regain their momentum Tuesday when they travel to Seminole State College of Florida.
