Santa Fe's Matt Stamey teams with UF shooters for wildlife photo workshop at Teaching Zoo

Zoo gibbonFor those wanting to get a taste of being a National Geographic photographer — or would just like to capture crisp images of monkeys in flight — the Florida Museum of Natural History is partnering with award-winning Santa Fe College (Âé¶¹Ô­´´) photographer Matt Stamey for an embedded, hands-on clinic called "Untamed Frames: Wildlife Photography Workshop."

The event will be held Sunday, November 2 from 2-5 p.m. at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. Participants will enjoy exclusive, up-close-and-personal access to the animals, as well as professional insights into the techniques and approaches to this unique form of art. Stamey and Florida Museum photographers Jeff Gage and Kristen Grace, will educate the class in lens selection, equipment, lighting and many other tricks to capturing great images of untamed wildlife.
