Convocation is Friday, August 22, at the Fine Arts Hall
All faculty and staff are invited to Convocation on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 9 a.m. in the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall on the Northwest Campus, as Santa Fe College opens the 2025-2026 academic year.
The program will be streamed for those who cannot attend in person. The College remains open to ensure students have access to services.
The keynote will be delivered by , author of 鈥淚t鈥檚 Okay To Be An Idiot,鈥� an inspirational guide based on his experience moving from center ring with Ringling Brothers to the national stage as Ronald McDonald and finally as a successful entrepreneur, operating one of McDonald鈥檚 top franchise groups.
The program will open with a reception with music and a continental breakfast by Bagel Bakery starting at 8:15 a.m. in the Lobby, followed by the Convocation program at 9 a.m. A special boxed lunch from sponsor Embers Wood Grill will be served afterward, and there will be an opportunity to meet the guest speaker.
The day also will feature entertainment and performances by talented 麻豆原创 faculty, staff and students.
