Community and 麻豆原创 Advocates to Be Honored at First Pillars of Service Awards May 23

All are invited to join the Santa Fe College Foundation as it honors outstanding members of the community at the inaugural Pillars of Service Awards luncheon, presented by Teal Tile Carpet One, on Friday, May 23, 2025.
The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center.
Pillars of Service was created to recognize individuals, organizations and Santa Fe College students who have made significant impacts on the college and community in Alachua and Bradford counties.

This year鈥檚 event will honor:
- Climb for Cancer Foundation, created by Ron and Dianne Farb, whose events and advocacy for the past 20 years have supported individuals with cancer and their families. They also created the B. Dianne Farb Healthcare Education Scholarship for students with a cancer diagnosis.
- Chuck Kramer, owner, WEAG-FM, Starke, 106.3, long-time Bradford County advocate, and co-founder with his wife, Mary, of the Danielle Kramer Memorial Scholarship at Santa Fe College.
- H茅ctor Puig, H茅ctor Picture Framing and Gallery, whose large donation of artwork is filling the halls of Santa Fe College and helping to bring attention to the importance of art on education.
- Kristina Ramer, Gainesville writer and editor, who is cataloging the H茅ctor Puig collection to ensure its last impact on the college and community.
- And Katie Bellanger, Santa Fe College student, whose advocacy has led to greater accessibility for those with disabilities at Santa Fe College and in the community.
Pillars of Service also will support a $250,000 fund-raising initiative launched in 2024 for program enhancements, state-of-the-art equipment and scholarships.
The Santa Fe College Foundation was created in 1969 to provide philanthropic support to Santa Fe College students and programs.
